About Siga Snipas

Siga is an exceptionally experienced broker and advisor who has guided her clients through hundreds of real estate transactions in both Massachusetts and New Hampshire since 2002. Prior to that, she spent six years as a real estate economist, researching and analyzing local economies and markets and forecasting returns for both national and international real estate investors. Throughout her nearly 30 years in the industry, she has successfully helped clients navigate the various, yet inevitable market cycles of the past three decades. Her background as a real estate economist combined with more than 20 years as a broker affords her a unique skillset, allowing her to bring a very trained and analytical view to the transaction table today.

Well versed in the details of a wide range of property types and situations, in her years as a broker and advisor, Siga has helped clients purchase, lease or sell luxury and waterfront homes, new construction, condominiums, multifamily and commercial property, and has successfully represented developers, builders, investors, and first-time home buyers throughout the seacoast of Essex County, MA and New Hampshire.  Clients enjoy Siga’s straightforward, thoughtful approach combined with her deep knowledge of the local markets, her strong negotiation skills, and her reliable communication. Siga works hard to ensure a smooth and efficient experience for all her clients. As a result, generations of Buyers and Sellers have trusted Siga to guide them through the challenging real estate process and they continue to refer their family and friends.

Siga graduated from Boston College with an undergraduate degree in Business Administration.  During her time at Boston College, through a joint program, she was able to take several master level courses at the MIT’s Center for Real Estate, allowing her to ultimately begin her real estate career as an economist in the research department at AEW and then subsequently as a real estate economist at Property & Portfolio Research, which has since become a part of CoStar Advisory Services.  AEW assists both private individual and large institutional investors invest and manage commercial real estate portfolios worldwide, while Property & Portfolio Research served private high net worth investors as well as institutional investors by providing quarterly market analysis and forecasts (including supply, demand, vacancy rates, rents, NOI’s values, and returns) across 52 markets and 4 commercial property types in the US, as well as Japan, London and Canada.

Siga is a Certified Relocation Specialist and is a member of the National Association of Realtors, the Massachusetts Association of Realtors, The New Hampshire Association of Realtors, and the Greater Newburyport Association of Realtors.

When not serving her clients, Siga enjoys all things waterfront – including swimming, boating, cold-water dipping, paddleboarding and has spent time learning to surf. She also enjoys clamming and helps out as a farmhand growing oysters at the Great Marsh Shellfish Company in Rowley. As a resident of the North Shore for nearly 30 years, spending many years in Merrimac, MA as well as Great Neck, in Ipswich and on Conomo Point, in Essex, she spends much of her free time walking and swimming all the beautiful beaches and marshes of Plum Island, Ipswich, Essex and Cape Ann. She also loves hiking and biking with her two sons both locally and along the coast of Maine, with a special affinity for Acadia National Park and DownEast Maine, where she grew up spending her summers. A lover of wooden boats, and antique homes – she has been an active volunteer and member of the Lowell’s Boat Shop community in Amesbury, and spent 25 years living in, loving and maintaining a first-period salt-box in Merrimac, MA. Having spent more than half her life loving and living the beauty of coastal, historic New England communities, she feels most at home immersed in history and near the water and currently resides in a sweet little 1690’s home on the banks of the beautiful Merrimac River in Amesbury, MA.
